➜ Golf Cart Battery Installation
GOLF CART BATTERY INSTALLATION IN
Most 48-volt carts run six 8-volt batteries, though eight 6-volt units hold more amp hours per pack. Battery Power sizes and installs golf cart batteries in Leesburg, The Villages and Lady Lake, in store or in your driveway. Flooded, AGM, and lithium sets fitted, wiring and torque checked, chargers matched, old batteries recycled free. Licensed and insured, free testing.

PACK CONDITION DECIDES WHAT THE CART CAN DO.
Range fades first, then hills start to feel steep, and one morning the cart will not leave the driveway. Those are the same batteries running out of usable capacity. Replacing the set restores the speed and the distance you had when the cart was new, provided the pack is sized and wired correctly.
Installation matters just as much as the batteries themselves. Reversed cables, loose lugs, an unsecured tray and a mismatched charging profile will kill a perfectly healthy set faster than years of ordinary driving ever could.
- Full pack and charging system tested before we quote
- Cables cleaned, coated and torqued to specification
- Voltage balanced across the whole set at handover
- Old batteries collected and recycled at no charge
➜ GOLF CART BATTERY INSTALLATION
DEEP CYCLE POWER, MATCHED TO HOW YOU DRIVE.
A cart that crosses a village twice a day asks something different from a cart that hauls tools around a property. We stock 6-volt, 8-volt and 12-volt deep-cycle batteries in flooded, absorbed glass mat and lithium chemistries, covering Club Car, EZ-GO, Yamaha, Icon and Evolution platforms. Amp hour rating, weight, charge time and expected life all shift with that choice, so we walk you through the trade before anything is ordered.
THE VILLAGES RUNS ON CART POWER.
Around here a cart is not a weekend toy. It is how people reach the pool, the pharmacy, and the golf course, which means a flat pack strands you the same way a dead car does. Central FL heat also pushes flooded batteries harder, drawing water levels down faster through summer. We install with that duty cycle in mind rather than a showroom average.
YEARS OF PUTTING CARTS BACK ON THE PATH.
Over years of installs teach you where sets really fail: one weak battery quietly dragging down five healthy ones, corroded lugs bleeding voltage into nothing, and chargers left plugged into packs they were never designed to finish. We test the whole system, not just the batteries, and say plainly when a charger needs attention before a new set goes in. When did anyone last check yours under load?
WHAT A FRESH BATTERY SET GIVES BACK
THE RANGE YOU ACTUALLY PAID FOR
A properly sized set carries you through a full day of errands and back without the slow crawl home. Hills stop draining the pack, and the cart holds speed the way it did when it was new.
MORNINGS WITHOUT GUESSWORK
No more wondering whether the charge held overnight. A healthy pack sits at full voltage when you unplug it, so the cart is ready the moment you are, every single day of the week.
YEARS INSTEAD OF SEASONS
Correct sizing, clean connections and a matched charger routinely stretch a flooded set to 4 or 5 good years. Neglected packs can fail inside 2, which makes the install itself part of the value.
A CHARGER THAT WORKS WITH THE PACK
Matching charger output to chemistry protects your investment from day one. It is the difference between a set that finishes every cycle properly and one that quietly cooks itself over a long summer.
LESS MAINTENANCE ON YOUR HANDS
Sealed AGM and lithium options remove watering from the routine entirely. For anyone tired of checking cells every few weeks, that alone changes how the cart fits into a normal week.
A SAFE, TIDY INSTALLATION
Secured hold-downs, protected terminals and correctly routed cables keep heat, sparks, and vibration under control. Nothing rattles loose under the seat, and nothing corrodes into a fault 6 months later.
➜ WHAT WE INSTALL
OUR GOLF CART BATTERY WORK
Six installation types cover nearly every cart that reaches us, from a single neighborhood runabout to a rental fleet turning over daily. Tell us the model and how the cart earns its keep, and we handle the rest.
DEEP CYCLE
6-Volt, 8-Volt And 12-Volt Sets
Voltage layout decides how much capacity fits under your seat. Six 8-volt units suit most 48-volt carts, while eight 6-volt units trade weight and space for noticeably longer runtime between charges.

LITHIUM UPGRADES
Lithium Battery Conversions
Swapping to lithium removes hundreds of pounds, ends watering forever and multiplies cycle life several times over. The conversion covers management board integration, tray adaptation and confirming your charger can finish the new profile safely.

SEALED SETS
AGM or gel
Flooded packs cost less upfront and reward regular watering. Absorbed glass mat units seal the acid away, resist vibration and suit owners who would rather not lift a seat every few weeks to check levels.

MOBILE FITTING
Mobile And at-Home Installation
Some carts should not be driven anywhere on a dying pack. Our mobile team arrives with the batteries, tools and testing gear, then completes the swap and the system check on your own driveway.

FLEET WORK
Fleet And Rental Cart Installs
Courses, resorts and rental operators need carts back in rotation quickly. We schedule batch replacements, standardize the packs across the fleet and keep records so future changeouts land before downtime does.

CHARGER SETUP
Charger Matching And Setup
A new set deserves a charger that finishes the job. We test output under load, adjust or replace units where the profile is wrong, and confirm the pack reaches full voltage at the end of a cycle.
★★★★★
Excellent Service and Support
Exemplary service! Amicable, punctual, overall went well.

➜ THE WORD ON OUR WORK
WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY.
Cart owners talk to each other constantly, and in communities this size a bad install would be common knowledge by the weekend. Our name travels the other direction instead, passed from one neighbor to the next, along with the reviews people leave afterward.
➜ Common Questions
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS.
Here are the questions cart owners raise most often before a battery swap. If yours is different, send the model and pack voltage through our contact page and we will answer it.
How long do golf cart batteries last?
A well-maintained flooded set usually runs 4 to 6 years, while lithium commonly passes 10. Skipped watering, chronic partial charging and long storage can cut a lead-acid pack down to under two.
Do I have 6-volt, 8-volt or 12-volt batteries?
Count the filler caps or read the label. Six caps means a 6-volt unit, four caps means 8-volt, and six batteries wired together most often signals a 48-volt cart built from 8-volt units.
Can I replace just one bad battery in the pack?
Only within the first few months of the set. After that the new unit is dragged down to the level of the older ones, so you pay for a battery and gain very little runtime.
How often do flooded batteries need water?
Check every 2 to 4 weeks, and top up after charging rather than before. Distilled water only, filled to roughly a quarter inch above the plates. Battery Power customers across Leesburg, FL, get levels checked at every visit.
Do I need a new charger if I switch to lithium?
Usually yes. Lithium finishes on a different voltage profile than lead-acid, and a mismatched charger either stops short of full or pushes the pack past where the management board wants it.
Should I charge the cart after every use?
Yes for lead-acid, which prefers to sit full and suffers when left partly discharged. Lithium is far more forgiving and loses only a small percentage of its charge each month in storage.
Can I use car batteries in a golf cart?
No. Car batteries deliver a short burst to crank an engine, then object to being drained deeply. Deep cycle units are built for sustained discharge and thousands of slow cycles instead.
Why have my installation done here?
Because the install decides how long the set lasts. Battery Power tests the charger and wiring before fitting anything, then balances and torques the pack properly at our Leesburg, FL, shop or your driveway.
➜ HOW WE WORK
FROM A TIRED PACK TO A FULL CHARGE, HERE IS HOW.
STEP 01
Test The Pack You Have Now
We load test each battery individually and read the pack as a whole. That shows whether one failing unit is dragging the set down or whether the entire pack has reached the end of its life.
STEP 02
Check The Charger And Wiring
Chargers fail quietly and take batteries with them. We measure output under load, inspect cables, lugs and hold-downs, and look for the corrosion and heat marks that point to a deeper electrical fault.
STEP 03
Choose The Right Chemistry
Flooded, absorbed glass mat and lithium each suit different owners. We match the choice to your daily distance, storage habits, budget and how much maintenance you actually want, then confirm the tray and weight work.
STEP 04
Fit The Set Correctly
Old batteries come out, trays are cleaned of acid residue, and the new pack goes in wired to the correct layout. Terminals are coated, lugs torqued to specification, and hold-downs secured against vibration.
STEP 05
Balance And Verify
The finished pack is charged to full, then measured cell by cell to confirm every unit sits where it should. Voltage across the set has to match before we hand the cart back to you.
STEP 06
Hand Over And Follow Up
You leave knowing the charging routine, the watering schedule if the set needs one, and exactly what early failure looks like. Old batteries stay with us for responsible recycling at no extra charge to you.
