FLEET, TRUCK AND RV BATTERIES IN Leesburg, FL
Group 31 is the workhorse commercial size, about 13 inches long and often rated past 1,000 cold cranking amps. Battery Power supplies fleet, truck and RV batteries in Leesburg, FL, and out to Wildwood and Sumter County, with most installs finished in under 30 minutes. Licensed and insured, fleet pricing available, priority turnaround for accounts, old batteries recycled here free.

DOWNTIME COSTS FAR MORE THAN THE BATTERY DOES.
A truck that will not crank at 7 a.m. does not cost you a battery. It costs a route, a crew standing around, a service call and a customer who waited. That is why we test starting batteries before they fail, keep the common commercial groups on the shelf, and get vehicles back out the same morning.
RV owners run the same math from the other side. A dead coach battery at a campsite means no lights, no water pump and no refrigerator control until somebody drives into town for help.
- High CCA starting batteries for diesel work trucks and service vans
- Deep-cycle house banks and dual battery setups for RV coaches
- AGM, group 31 and commercial sizes stocked, odd groups sourced fast
- Fleet pricing, priority turnaround and on-site support for larger accounts

HIGH CRANKING POWER AND TRUE HOUSE CAPACITY.
Two jobs, two very different batteries. A diesel work truck needs high CCA and vibration-resistant construction to spin a cold engine hard, while an RV coach battery needs reserve capacity to run lights, pumps and inverters for hours. Some rigs need both, which is where a dual battery setup with an isolator earns its keep. We match group size, terminal placement and chemistry to each job, then install it correctly.
WORK TRUCKS AND SNOWBIRD RIGS SHARE OUR COUNTER.
Mornings belong to the trades. Service vans, landscape trailers, box trucks and equipment haulers come through from Leesburg, Tavares, Wildwood and Eustis before most people finish their first coffee. Afternoons bring motorhomes down from the north, half of them sitting on a house bank that sulfated over a hot summer. Both groups want the same thing, which is a battery that starts tomorrow.
FLEET MANAGERS TAUGHT US TO PLAN AHEAD.
Fleet work rewired how we think. Over years our commercial accounts taught us that scheduled replacement beats emergency replacement every single time, so we log what went into which unit and flag the ones approaching the end. Owner Eric Couture handles the fleet pricing and the priority turnaround himself, and all of the work stays in-house. Would you rather change a battery on your schedule or on the road?

➜ WHAT WE SUPPLY
OUR FLEET, TRUCK AND RV BATTERY RANGE
Commercial vehicles, coaches and equipment do not share one battery. We stock the starting, deep-cycle and AGM sizes that keep this county working, and we source the odd commercial groups quickly when a spec calls for them.
STARTING
Heavy-Duty Starting Batteries
Diesel engines demand violent current for a few seconds, often from two batteries wired in parallel. Thick plates, a high CCA battery rating and vibration-resistant internals keep a heavy-duty truck battery alive over rough roads and long idle hours.
HOUSE
Deep-Cycle RV House Banks
Coach systems draw modest current for long stretches, which ruins a starting battery fast. A deep-cycle house battery is built with thicker, denser plates that tolerate repeated discharge down to half capacity and then recover.
AGM
AGM and Sealed Batteries
Sealed absorbed glass mat construction locks electrolyte into fiberglass mats, so nothing spills and nothing needs watering. An AGM battery shrugs off vibration, mounts at odd angles, and recharges faster than a comparable flooded unit.
GROUP 31
Group 31 and Commercial Sizes
Bigger cases carry bigger reserve. Group 31 batteries dominate commercial work because the footprint holds more plate area, and the same tray accepts starting, dual-purpose or deep-cycle versions depending on what the vehicle actually does.
EQUIPMENT
Lifts and Utility Equipment
Liftgates, ride-on scrubbers, sweepers and aerial lifts cycle their batteries hard every shift. That duty wants deep-cycle construction, secure hold-downs and a charger sized to finish overnight rather than leaving the bank half charged.
FLEETS
Fleet Programs and Scheduled Replacement
Running 5 vans or 50, you get bulk supply, fleet pricing, priority turnaround and on-site support. We track install dates by unit so replacement happens during planned service instead of during a delivery window.

➜ THE WORD ON OUR WORK
WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY.
Fleet customers and RV owners tell us the same thing in different words: we test before we sell, we install fast, and the vehicle leaves running. Owner Eric Couture and our counter team hear it about scheduled replacements more than anything else we do.
➜ Common Questions
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS.
Fleet managers, diesel drivers and RV owners bring us the same questions week after week, covering sizing, cranking power, house capacity and charging. If yours is missing, ask us directly.
How many batteries does a diesel truck need?
Most heavy-duty diesels use two or more 12-volt batteries wired in parallel, because a cold start can pull well past 1,000 amps. Both should be replaced together and matched by age, group size and rating.
Can one battery handle both starting and house loads in an RV?
A dual-purpose battery manages both on light duty, but it compromises at each end. Most coaches do better with a dedicated starting battery and a separate deep-cycle house bank joined by an isolator.
How long do RV house batteries last?
Expect 3 to 5 years from flooded deep-cycle units and a little longer from AGM. Deep discharges below half capacity, chronic undercharging and months of storage at partial charge shorten that considerably.
What is a group 31 battery used for?
Group 31 is the standard commercial case for trucks, RVs, lifts and equipment, offered in starting, dual-purpose and deep-cycle builds. Battery Power keeps group 31 batteries on the shelf in Leesburg, FL for exactly that reason.
Are AGM batteries worth it for a work truck?
Often yes. AGM handles vibration, mounts in tight or angled spaces, needs no watering and accepts charge faster, which matters on trucks running short routes with heavy accessory loads all day.
Will my RV converter fully charge the house batteries?
Not always. Many older converters hold a single float voltage that never finishes the job, leaving the bank chronically undercharged. A multi-stage converter or a proper shore charger fixes that quickly.
Why does my truck battery die when it sits?
Parasitic drain. Telematics units, alarms, liftgate controllers and radios keep pulling current after shutdown, and a vehicle parked for weeks can slide below starting voltage. A maintainer or disconnect switch prevents it.
Why should our fleet buy batteries from you?
Because downtime is the expensive part. Battery Power has supplied fleets from Leesburg, FL since 2006 with bulk pricing, priority turnaround, on-site support for larger accounts, free testing and free recycling of every old core.
